4-H Shooting Sports Parent Night

The Weld County 4-H Shooting Sports Council and Weld County Extension Office would like to invite you to our parents night.

Who:  Parents and any other adults of 4-H members who are interested interested in 4-H Shooting Sports.   
When:  Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at 6:30 PM.  Light meal will served at 6:30, meeting at 7:00.
Where:  Weld County Extension Office
What:  We will discuss.....Project requirements, Policies and procedures, the role and responsibilities of parents and other adults interested in assisting and supporting children enrolled in 4-H Shooting Sports.

Hunter Safety Class in Grover

There will be a hunter education class offered at the Grover High School.  The class is scheduled for December 21-23, 2012.  Contact Troy Schnug at 970-217-0908 for further details and schedule.

Colorado State 4H Shoot Squads

The squadding lists are out for the 2012 State Shoot.  Squads can be found at Squads.  Please review,  if you see any problems contact your key leader ASAP.

Indoor practice for air rifle/pistol and .22

We will be having indoor practice for air rifle/pistol and .22.  Greeley Junior Shooting Club has offered us the oportunity to come shoot indoors at the range in the Greeley Rec Center.  This is a great opportuntity for you to get some extra practice and learn about olympic style shooting.  We will be practicing August 4 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM and August 11 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Contact your key leaders if you have any questions.

Practice for state shotgun participants.  Galeton Range will be Thursdays August 2,9,16 and 23 at 6:00 PM.  Colorado Clays will be August 12 and 19 at 4:00 PM and August 24 at 5:30 PM.  Contact your key leaders if you have any questions.
