Council Meeting Canceled for tonight

Due to the fact that Island Grove Park is spraying for flies, the council meeting that was scheduled for tonight has been moved to next Wednesday, August 10th at 7pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.

State Contest and Practices

Hope everyone is having a good time at Fair this week. We will be starting practices for State Contest next week. The first 3 Tuesday's in August will be at Fort Lupton for rifle and archery, starting at 6pm. Practices will be also be at Galeton on the first 3 Thursday's in August. You can go to all of the practices or none of them, there are there for you. 

The calendar is updated with practice times and also the State Contest. For more information on the State Contest please follow this link. Those of you planning on going to State should have already contacted your key leader and let them know.

Weld County Shooting Sports Contest Results 2011

Here are the results from Saturday and Sunday. Congratulations to everyone that participated. Good luck to those that are going to State Contest. Don't forget you much tell your key leader if you plan to attend state and your T-shirt size, by interview judging July 25th.

County Shoot

Just a few reminders about the Weld County shoot this weekend. Check in starts at 7:30am at the Galeton range, with the contest starting at 8:30am. There will be a brief saftey meeting before we start. Squads should be posted by the ranges, if you are competing in more than one event make sure you know what time you are supposed to be on which range.
It has been mentioned that the bridge going over the Platte river on C.R. 53/State Hwy 37 has been closed on on and off. If you were planning on getting to the range by this route it might be advisable to find an alternative.
